Meet our Team

Dr. DeVito earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. Prior to that, she obtained her bachelor’s degrees in both biology and flute performance at Indiana University. She has always been passionate about veterinary medicine, having been born into a family of animal lovers. Dr. DeVito has special interests in veterinary dentistry, surgery, and emergency medicine.

A New Hampshire native, Dr. DeVito currently lives in Derry, NH. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Brian. They share their home with their three miniature american shepherds Brie, Sonny, and Piper.  Dr. DeVito's personal interests include woodworking, gardening, painting, and playing the flute.

Kim is our Tech Supervisor. When not working hard at the hospital, you can find Kim with her horse or two kids. Kim is very passionate about animal welfare, and you can find her anywhere in the clinic working very hard in surgery, x-ray, at the desk, or with clients.

Melany is one of our Nurses. Melany lives in Hudson with her husband Bill, two dogs, Duck and Chudleigh (pictured here!), and two cats, Otter and Yogi. Some of Melany's favorite things to do include taking trips with her dogs, hiking, and spending time with her family. Her favorite places to visit are anywhere with the ocean, and she has a passion for Animal Welfare.

Chelsea has been at Handle for a little over a year and is one of our nurses. She started as a kennel assistant, and has worked her way up to be a Vet Tech - and boy, are we glad she did! Chelsea lives in Hudson with her two cats, Meep and Blackie, and her Golden Retriever Sampson. Chelsea is a self-proclaimed Crazy Cat Lady and loves to be outdoors. You can find Chelsea at the beach, hiking, and swimming! You can find Chelsea anywhere at Handle With Care with a smile on her face, working on our in house diagnostics, and laughing!

Kayla is one of our Nurses here at Handle with Care since 2013.  An avid animal lover, Kayla has three dogs, Lucy, Ellie, and Willow, and one kitty named Tazz. One of Kayla's favorite things to do is go on walks with her pups! Kayla and her fur-babies live locally in Derry. Kayla spends a lot of her time adoring her niece, Jaelynn, or can be found watching her favorite TV show, The Good Doctor. Her favorite food is Chinese, and her favorite color is pink.

Carol is our groomer at Handle with Care. She learned to groom while living in Alaska and has been grooming for 25+ years - 20 of those were at HWC. When she’s not pampering pups she can be found camping, antiquing, or just working around the house. She has 5 fur kids. 

Lisa has worked at HWC for 13+ years and recently rejoined our team in 2020 and we are thrilled to have her back! She is always happy, smiling, and willing to jump in and help clients, their pets or her team members. When she is not working, she is spending time with her family and her 3 feline babies, Canepz, Corona and Nina.
